Tech drops game to powerhouse John Jay, 11-4, despite strong showing from Tosler

From Coach Nardiello: Rain again!? With Parade Grounds 3 washed out we pivot to a turf field in Red Hook to host Division-leading John Jay Jaguars. Solid game apart from 1 inning where we misplayed 2-3 balls and allowed them 7 runs. Offense was solid paced by 2 hits from Sawyer (2B), Rickey (2B), and Evan. Trevor launched a line-drive off the CF wall (2B). Hugo started and battled for 5 IP, then Silas pitched the 6th, and Nico retired them 1-2-3 in the 7th on only 10 pitches. We just allowed too many runs early, to come back today. 11-4 loss.
